WARRANTY POLICY

Equipment Resources' Warranty Policy Is As Follows:

New Equipment – As stated by the manufacturer.

Used Equipment – As is – Where is. Remember that used equipment is not new equipment and usually any manufacturers’ warranty has already expired. Equipment Resources will not offer warranties on used equipment beyond what the manufacturer will warranty when the equipment is new. However, you may purchase extended warranties on some used equipment at competitive rates.

Refurbished Equipment – Your equipment is guaranteed to meet Trade Terms as delivered or picked up.  Refurbished does not mean preventative maintenance in anticipation of possible repairs in the future. Refurbished equipment means anything that does not meet Trade Terms is repaired or replaced to meet trade terms.

  • When applicable, the unit(s) will have passed a Federal DOT inspection.
  • Customer must inspect unit(s) for Trade Terms Compliance upon taking possession of unit(s) at the time of delivery or when picked up by the customer, and before the unit is put in service.
  • Any item(s) that does not meet Trade Terms will be brought into compliance by Equipment Resources prior to the unit being put in service.

Equipment Resources must be notified of any item(s) that is not working properly or that does not meet trade terms IN ADVANCE OF ANY REPAIR WORK. EQUIPMENT RESOURCES MUST SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZE THE REPAIRS AND THE EXPENSE INVOLVED IN WRITING. Any deviation from this policy as stated nullifies the warranty and therefore any obligation of Equipment Resources, stated or implied.
